On November 30, the Hennef Sports School once again hosted its traditional goose buffet, continuing a tried-and-tested tradition in a festive, pre-Christmas atmosphere. Under the motto “Plenty of goose”, guests were treated to a culinary variety that left nothing to be desired: from sophisticated starters and creamy pumpkin soup to freshly carved goose with orange jus and quince compote – accompanied by red cabbage, Brussels sprouts, potato gratin and napkin dumplings – there was something for every taste. The sweet finish was provided by delicacies such as baked apple with vanilla sauce, gingerbread tiramisu and white mousse with mulled wine cherries, which ensured a successful end to the evening on the first Advent.
Henni Sieger also mingles with the guests
Over 110 guests enjoyed a relaxed evening full of culinary highlights and convivial get-togethers, where a sporty atmosphere met top regional cuisine. Additional entertainment was provided by our mascot Henni Sieger, who warmly greeted the visitors and actively supported the sports school team in the implementation of the event. Looking back on the successful event, head chef Ares Zamanikas emphasized: “Every year it is a pleasure for us to spoil our guests with traditional goose dishes and creative accents. For us, the goose buffet is not just a culinary event, but a piece of pre-Christmas joy.”
The goose buffet at the Hennef Sports School was once again a great opportunity to enjoy the end of the year together. We would like to thank all our guests for a successful evening and are already looking forward to the next one.

Henni Sieger not only actively supported the sports school team, but also ensured a good atmosphere at the goose buffet.
