Renovation of the indoor swimming pool at the Hennef sports school is delayed

The renovation of the indoor pool continues to be delayed and, as things stand, will last until the end of the 2026 summer vacations. The reason for the further delays are disruptions in the construction process, meaning that various trades could not be carried out consecutively without interruption as planned.

The aim is to comprehensively renovate the indoor swimming pool at the Hennef Sports School and make it more sustainable in order to continue to offer people from the region reliable swimming opportunities and to enable children and young people in Hennef to learn to swim in the long term. The indoor pool is an important pillar for the swimming facilities in the area.
