Hennef Sports School Collects Bottle Caps for a Good Cause

The Hennef Sports School has launched a bottle cap collection drive as a small way to help conserve resources and, at the same time, support an important social institution.

Acting Sustainably and Doing Good

Collection bins are provided in all conference rooms and are regularly emptied by the sports school’s staff. Caps are also collected in the dining halls and the bistro. All bottle caps are then placed in a large collection bin, which is picked up by the Karnevalsklübchen Kraus e.V. from Bad Breisig and redeemed at a metal processing facility.

All proceeds will benefit the Förderkreis für krebskranke Kinder und Jugendliche e.V. in Bonn—an organization that supports families facing particularly challenging life situations.

Anyone can participate

Guests at the sports school are always welcome to drop off bottle caps with us and help out in this way.
