Association Day year 2025: Four FVM events at the Hennef Sports School

Dr. Christos Katzidis is the old and new president of the Football Association Mittelrhein (FVM). The 135 delegates from the nine soccer districts unanimously elected the 55-year-old from Bonn to his second term of office on June 28, 2025 at the FVM’s regular association conference at the Hennef Sports School. On the eve of the association conference, long-standing and deserving volunteers were also presented with FVM merit and honorary badges and the FVM honorary award in a festive atmosphere. On May 10, 2025, the Hennef Sports School opened its doors for the Association Youth Day, which was preceded by an awards evening. The delegates from the association’s nine soccer districts unanimously elected Detlef Knehaus as the highest youth representative in the Middle Rhine region at the association’s Youth Day.

While the FVM Association Day with its 135 delegates was held in the triple sports hall, the FVM hosted the smaller Association Youth Day (92 delegates) in the auditorium of the Hennef Sports School. The two awards evenings were held in the Haberland area in recognition of the great voluntary commitment of the volunteers.
